TRANSGRESSION art + technology is an encounter with transgression from various fields, from the vision of each different selected artists, who present different transgressions from the form of visualization in the digital environment, always seeking in its development the formal connection between art and technology. The artists will present various themes, concepts and questions posed by their works, presenting different forms of narratives through processes of multiple languages of errors or new technological processes, the product of the different defects of digital and analogue devices that give us incomplete or transformed images, as well as the new processes of generating images and sound. These new lines of visualisation intertwined between video and audio form new motifs and digital narratives of visual art transformation that start from the digitally generated error, which has the potential to become a tangible language of digital art.

TRANSGRESSION art + technology (TRANSGRESSÃO arte + tecnologia) é um encontro com transgressões de vários campos e da visão de cada um dos diferentes artistas selecionados, que apresentam transgressões diferentes, desde a forma de visualização na esfera digital, procurando sempre no seu desenvolvimento a ligação formal entre arte e tecnologia. Os artistas apresentarão vários temas, conceitos e questões colocadas pelas suas obras, apresentando diferentes formas de narrativas através de processos de múltiplas linguagens de erros ou novos processos tecnológicos, o produto dos diferentes defeitos dos dispositivos digitais e analógicos que nos dão imagens incompletas ou transformadas, bem como os novos processos de geração de imagens e som. Estas novas linhas de visualização entrelaçadas entre vídeo e áudio formam novos motivos e narrativas digitais de transformação da arte visual que partem do erro gerado digitalmente, que tem o potencial de se tornar uma linguagem tangível da arte digital.

TRANSGRESSION art + technology (TRANSGRESIÓN arte + tecnología) es un encuentro con la transgresión desde variados ámbitos y desde la visión de cada uno de los diferentes artistas seleccionados, que presentan diferentes transgresiones desde la forma de visualización en el ámbito digital, procurando siempre en su desarrollo la conexión formal entre el arte y la tecnología. Donde se presentarán variados temas, conceptos e interrogantes que nos plantean los artistas desde sus obras, presentado diferentes formas de narrativas a través de procesos de múltiples lenguajes de errores o nuevos procesos tecnológicos, producto de los diferentes defectos de los dispositivos digitales y analógicos que nos dan imágenes incompletas o transformadas, como también de los nuevos procesos de generación de imágenes y sonido. Estas nuevas líneas de visualización entrelazadas entre el vídeo y el audio conforman nuevos motivos y narrativas digitales de transformación del arte visual que parten desde el error generado digitalmente, el cual tienen el potencial de convertirse en un lenguaje tangible del arte digital.

TRANSGRESSION art + technology LAPP 3 has been created since its inception as an initiative to include citizens in the new contemporary manifestations of the live audiovisual avant-garde, where different approaches and varied themes, concepts and questions posed by its projects are presented, presenting different forms of narratives through the multiple language processes of new technological processes, as well as the new image and sound generation processes of sound art and digital visual art in motion, presenting new sound and visual landscapes, allowing the individual to have a new approach to the different lines of development of digital sound and visual art from the new media and digital Media-Art, increasing the perspectives and appreciation of the different live digital audiovisual narratives that contemporaneity proposes to us, allowing from the innovation of this project to have access to the future, auguring a human being with greater approximation to the new avant-garde expressions and open to new immersive experiences, more sensitive, with broad and current thinking, following the evolution of the contemporaneity of the new media.

TRANSGRESSION art + technology LAPP 3 aims to further dynamise our city's visual and sound culture. The project is based on audiovisual performance presentations and an approach to digital sound and visual experimentation, in its technological renewal, for the creation of new narratives of sound and visual landscapes from the moving images of experimental digital video, with the aim of broadening audiovisual culture, of recent possibilities in the transformation of audiovisual narratives as a means of expression and creation of current forms of communication in image and sound and their connection with the computational sphere, with responses to our time, thus giving rise to new approaches within the new narratives, in the composition of the avant-garde culture of the new mediums and digital media art.

This project aims to bring the creativity of digital sound and visual art to the city in its urban experimental sound and video, anchored in the new artistic manifestations of research and live audiovisual experimentation, with the resource of bringing together and promoting the new sound and visual manifestations, from a place of encounter and socialisation for the citizens of the city, which is the cultural and research space such as the Funchal Cultural and Research Centre, thus allowing citizens to connect with the projects and their different audiovisual works from the performance, in a confrontation of the new avant-garde artistic practices. Bringing new artistic manifestations and territorial innovation to the public, allowing citizens to get closer to the new forms of experimental expressions of sound art and visual art of the moving image.
